Once again Brian and crew did an excellent job for us and in a very timely manner! One of our service vehicles needed a brake job this time and this shop is the only one we use where we don't worry about the quality of work and attention to detail. The pricing is reasonable and every repair they have done for us has been done quickly. I cant imagine a better experience and highly recommend giving them a try for your next repair. honestly one of the best auto shops I've ever taken my car. The entire staff is amazing and kind, the owner is such an awesome guy--all treat you with respect. as a female i always get nervous going to an auto shop due to my ignorance of vehicle maintenance, but i never felt pressured or confused when getting work done at skips. I've always been well informed and had any issues explained to me in a way i could understand. I trust this shop with my car 100% and will forever recommend skips auto to anyone in or around frederick county. As a family owned shop, you couldn't ask for more--they even have shop dogs!

We are from Ohio and we were on our way to Washington, DC when our car broke down near Skip's Auto Repair. This was later in afternoon on a Friday. The staff at Skips took us in, ran diagnostics and gave us a quick quote and booked us for Tuesday repair. They went above and beyond to help us out. They not only were experts at fixing it but did it at a super fair price. Our car was left safe and secure for us to pick up on our way back out of town on a late Saturday evening pickup. From beginning to end the whole process was really a blessing and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have used Brian's services for three major projects on three different cars. We have spent thousands of dollars, received first class work and communications and, most importantly, have saved over half the cost of dealer quotes. The last repairs, just completed, were to correct several inspection fails (due to wear) on our 100k Jetta TDI Sportwagen. The dealer quoted $5200 to pass inspection. Brian took care of everything, including better tires, for just under $2000 and the car passed easily. This is the best repair shop I've found in over 50 years of car ownership! Don't waste your time, just head down Broadway to Skip's.

Very polite, efficient also went above & beyond. They also went the extra mile to give me an oil change free of charge, fixed 2 things that would go bad soon & still charged me almost $1000 less which I was quoted

These individuals at this car shop are true kings; they are the best car place I’ve ever dealt with I am a single mom and ran into a car issue and they made it their duty to help me in any way possible they are the definition of kindness! We need more places like this! If I could give them a million stars I would, I recommend them for all car work this is the only place I’ll be working with from now on as well as my family!
