On the recommendation of a friend I went here after the wear indicator on my brakes got too disconcerting to ignore. Had them do a brake check and an oil change because it was due anyway. On the way out the door I mentioned off hand I wouldn't be able to pick the car up same day because I would be at my work(admittedly close by) until very late. Without hesitation and unprompted by me the gentleman behind the counter said they would bring it to me. I dropped the car off at 12 and, despite a full lot ahead of me when I had rolled up, they dropped it off to me at 430. They also didn't try to sell me on anything extra or unnecessary either. Just the oil change and my rear brakes and let me know the fronts were fine. Great service, great prices. I would not take my car anywhere else if I have a choice. They have done an excellent job on all of my cars and cars of friends that I have recommended to them. I have a friend who was quoted an outrageous price at another shop and told that they would need several repairs. Can't say enough good things about Skip's. I called Skip's on a Friday afternoon because I was having trouble getting my car to shift from park into gear. I am from out of town visiting my parents and picking them up from a hospital in Baltimore where my mom had surgery. Brian agreed right away to take a look at it, and Jeff found the problem in no time, a faulty sensor under the brake pedal. They ordered the part and fixed it and I was out of there in under an hour, for a reasonable price. Plus they were just really nice guys to boot.
